Health Issues

My blood pressure has been very high lately and I am totally scared. So, mom and I came to Ankara today to get it checked out by my cardiologist. This morning was the first time it has been normal. I hope it is just a matter of changing meds.

Wish me luck.

  1. oh, thats no good, I hope you feel better soon. I wonder if the recent workplace stress has contributed to it being high.

    1. Thank you. I am sure stress is a factor.

  2. I am on medication for High BP myself so I know how scary it can be. My meds have had to be adjusted occasionally and about 18 months ago they added a water pill (diuretic). Sometimes these work and sometimes they don't - I was lucky as my BP dropped back to normal within a couple of days. Have they suggested this at all? Good luck - try not to stress too much.

  3. Changing meds worked for me. It did take a couple tries. Work stress may be a factor? I know it is scary! Good that you know and are taking care of it.

  4. My blood pressure was higher than usual, so I quit drinking caffeine before I went to the doctor. Then, more lately, my bp was up sometimes. When I quit taking pseudoephedrine before getting bp taken, it measured a lot lower. Hopefully, your elevated bp is just a med.

    2. I have never taken bp meds and hope never to by being careful. Of course, I know being careful does not work for some people.
