Sad memories...

Last year today was the last day mom spent at home. After midnight, she was hospitalized and never came back home.

A very sad day for our family...

Today we shared fun pictures of mom on our small family whatsapp group (Uncle, SIS, BIL and I) and tried to focus on the happier memories.

It is still very hard...

  4. I'm so sorry - I can't imagine you will ever stop missing your mom. But I do hope that the memories you carry with you in your heart & were able to share with your family bring/brought you all some comfort. Peace.

    1. She meant a lot to all of us. My uncle was 15 years her junior and he looked up to her and they were very close. SIS was her baby and he loved BIL just like a son. We also had a very special bond and spent tons of time together. It is extremely hard.

  5. Friday was Mom's birthdate. She would have been 90, and I woke and "talked" with her for a little while, then continued to think of her all day. Somedays are harder than others.

  8. Ah, what a difficult time for you! I'm a bit late, but sending a big, virtual hug. Hopefully the good memories help soften the hurt a little xx

  9. So so hard to miss people, when certain things happen for a split second I still think I should call my mom. And she passed away years ago. Anniversaries are tough.
