Today I went to the seashore to walk. I walked over one of the wave breakers and recorded the below video. You can hear the wind. It was a nice sunny day.
Yes, it is sea and furthermore it is an inner sea. No other country has shores to it. Called The Marmara Sea. If you sail northward, you pass a straight into the Black Sea. If you sail southward, you pass through the Dardanelles Straight into the Aegean Sea.
I hope you will come for a visit once this pandemic goes away and free and careless travel becomes possible again. Promise to be your guide in Istanbul. Will try to share more pictures.
That's beautiful! What was the temperature?
ReplyDeleteIt was 60 but the wind made it a little chillier than it was.
DeleteI love the ocean (or I guess "sea" in your case). And such a pretty blue.

DeleteI love the wind by the ocean (however cold it gets). It just feels like it blows all the cobwebs and worries away!
ReplyDeleteSo true! I got up early today. In about an hour, I will go for another walk. Trying to decide between a park and seaside.
DeleteBeautiful! I love when you post pics/videos! Love seeing pictures from other parts of the world! Would love to see Turkey some day.
