This is a very sad day. A friend from my High School passed away due to multiple organ failure. He had heart problems and apparently one thing led to another and he passed at the age of 52. He was a very special person. Such an early and huge loss.
I am going to Ankara for the funeral tomorrow.
"one thing led to another" is what I dread! I lost my best friend in hs to suicide several years ago. It has been a while but I still feel like there has been no closure since I did not get to go to the funeral. Wishing you the best in Ankara. You need the closure.
ReplyDeleteThank you Linda. I am glad I went to the funeral. So many people attended. He was an excellent man.
Deletemy condolences on the loss of your friend, so sad at 52.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteI'm so sorry for the loss of your HS friend. It really shakes you to your core, doesn't it? A good friend from grade school dropped dead from a brain aneurysm at 49. I was rattled for weeks. She was a school teacher, taught that Friday, went out with her husband for dinner, got up Saturday morning & dropped dead. Life is precious & short. Cherish each day.
ReplyDeleteSo true. We should make the best of every single day. Who knows if there is a tomorrow.
DeleteI thought I posted a comment. Or, do you moderate comments. Well, I will see when I post this...lol.
ReplyDeleteI do moderate comments.
DeleteI'm so sorry for the loss of your friend. What a shock! I hope you got a little bit of peace and closure at the funeral. Really makes you think when people your own age are dying, doesn't it? Take care xx
ReplyDeleteThank you so much. He was under the care of another High School friend and we know what an excellent doctor he is. So, we know that he was taken care of and everything has been done to save him. It just wasn't meant to be.
