Goodbye Mom...

My mom passed away in the afternoon today. I feel a huge hole inside me.

Mom, thank you for;

Choosing dad as your partner
Giving me my sister
Being my rock
Being my best travel companion
Being the coolest mom ever...

I don't know what happens after death but if there is a place they all go to, I am sure my dad will be very happy to see her.

  15. So sorry for your loss. It is so hard to lose the one who has spent their entire life looking out for you. My mom is almost 92 and is at the end of her life also. She wants to go... but I don't know if I am ready.

    1. Ladybug, you can never be ready. Make the best of every single moment as long as you have her.

  16. My oldest sister-in-law (94) died Friday - I feel joy at thinking she has joined her husband and youngest son, both of whom she missed terribly. She never knew her father and the identity of her twin brother was kept from her so now all is known and there is only love. I am with you on celebrating your mother.

    1. My condolences sillygirl. To think people find loved ones and peace after death is so much more comforting than what almost every religion says.
