My mom passed away in the afternoon today. I feel a huge hole inside me.
Mom, thank you for;
Choosing dad as your partner
Giving me my sister
Being my rock
Being my best travel companion
Being the coolest mom ever...
I don't know what happens after death but if there is a place they all go to, I am sure my dad will be very happy to see her.
I am so so sorry for your loss. May she find peace now

DeleteOh my gosh! What a fight she put up! I am so sorry for your loss.
ReplyDeleteYes, she was a true warrior. Thank you.
DeleteMy condolences, she was fighting for as long as she could. But what a wonderful live she had with you, and those memories can always be cherished.
ReplyDeleteSo true. Thank you so much.
DeleteI am so sorry for your loss. I can certainly understand the hole in your heart...
ReplyDeleteThank you so much.
DeleteSo sorry for your loss. It is so hard to lose the one who has spent their entire life looking out for you. My mom is almost 92 and is at the end of her life also. She wants to go... but I don't know if I am ready.
ReplyDeleteLadybug, you can never be ready. Make the best of every single moment as long as you have her.
DeleteMy oldest sister-in-law (94) died Friday - I feel joy at thinking she has joined her husband and youngest son, both of whom she missed terribly. She never knew her father and the identity of her twin brother was kept from her so now all is known and there is only love. I am with you on celebrating your mother.
ReplyDeleteMy condolences sillygirl. To think people find loved ones and peace after death is so much more comforting than what almost every religion says.
DeleteGo with what your heart says, T'Pol, and thanks for the thoughts. Love is where it is - we are lucky to have loved those that have left. My sympathetic thoughts to you too.
DeleteOh, T'Pol, I am so very sorry to hear this. What a fighter she was! You have some truly beautiful memories of her to keep. Please take care of yourself. Sending a hug xx
ReplyDeleteThank you NLA. I have been thinking about you, missing your posts.
DeleteSorry for your loss, big hugs!
ReplyDeleteThank you Sam.
DeleteOh I'm so sorry to learn of your mother's death. Sending you my condolences and big hugs! Anna
